Salutations, my fellow human.

Yes hi. That's me. Up there. The name: Caroline. The age: 16. The town: confidential. 

This is my first blog post. Let me tell you a little story about how this idea even came to be in the first place. So, I was studying for my AP Physics and Pre-Cal classes, right? And in the hubbub and stress, I had one of those miraculous ideas that people who live in pressure cookers get from time to time, when their brain throws up its hypothetical hands and says, "Alright, that's enough, it's time to act out a scene from Inception." I decided I wanted a blog.

I know. I'm so special that I'm one of 600 million others.

Anyways, I didn't think, I just did. Although the website I tried to make that day inevitably failed because I needed more time to plan out something that was actually of some quality.

So this was born. Huzzah, confetti.

Here's what I'm here to do for you. I am here to do one of the things that I love: write. And along with that, entertain. Inform. Persuade. I'm here to show you the inside of the strange squishy thing in my skull. I'm here to vent about what it's really like juggling six AP classes, still doing extracurriculars, and having some semblance of a social life (the last part is questionable). I'm here to talk about what it was like writing a book. I'm here to, hopefully, provide life lessons. And also, to be honest with you, this will probably be very therapeutic for me.

On that honesty note, my goal is to be authentic. Glossing over things and making obstacles seem less difficult than they are isn't really what I'm seeking to accomplish, and they probably won't help you.

I hope you join me on this journey then, my human bean. Thanks for roaming your eyes past the last few paragraphs and allowing me my fun.
